I'm a great fan of freewebs. It's great how you can design your own site so easily. :mrgreen:

But having used it for a year, I've found out it's not the most practical site for autograph collectors mainly becuase you are only given 40 mb of free storage (on fotopic its 200 mb). If you are using your site as a long term autograph site, then its not practial.

Also, as a free user you can only upload photos one by one onto your site. This is very time consuming and I have given up on uploading scans of my autographs for now.

I will need to make a fotopic soon :)

That's not entirely true - I've had my website at Freewebs for 2 years now and never experienced any problem with the space given. {thumb2}

Also, I've never uploaded my photos onto Freewebs - I simply link them to my Photobucket account. Problem solved. :)

I get what you mean Lizanne, but if your collection grows you will soon find out the space freewebs provide is not enough.

I do the same thing as you, link photos to my photobucket. But I've been thinking, why not directly upload the photos onto a photo sharing site?

But ofcause, if you have the heart and the skills to make something like Lizanne's site, then go ahead and make a freewebs. A finished freewebs site always look better then a fotopic site. On the other hand, if you are looking for something thats quick, simple and easy, fotopic is your answer.

Ah, ok - I understand what you mean, Jason. {thumb2} I agree, I'd say if you have 50+ autographs, it might begin to get a bit difficult with Freewebs. I've been getting a lot of people asking me about uploading the photos, and many aren't aware that one can link to Photobucket. {up} Luckily I only have 29 autographs so far (and haven't been getting any lately!) so I'm ok, for now. But yes, fotopic's really good if you want to show a big collection! :)

So I'm guessing you don't want anymore autographs ;-)
