Re: Parents on Autograph Collecting

Unread post by Crazy_Kiss_Fan. »

I started collecting when I was 16 and I just told my parents it's a new hobby. I still collect. What happened was. Since I was using so much ink(for printing off pictures & letters) and stamps I had to pay a little of money for both. Since I was using them more. Try saying something like that if you could and can contribute.
But when I get an autograph in the mail my Dad gets excited and asks if it's real or not. He was really impressed when I got a reply from Alan Rickman, which was my 1st try at a London address. Though I had to pay for the IRC's myself.

Last Success: Tobias Sammet
Last Sent: None
Favorite Autograph Received: Alan Rickman & Adam Croasdell
Favorite IP: Trans-Siberian Orchestra (East Group)
Most Wanted: Hugh Jackman, Gene Simmons, Paul Stanley, Rhys Ifans, Tom Hiddleston, Bill Nighy

My mother STILL gets excited when I call her to tell her something came, especially if it's someone she likes as well (Lee Meriwether, Maureen O'Hara, James Earl Jones, Barbara Rush, etc.).
2014 Successes:
Tom Baker, Patrick Stewart (vv), Peter Cullen, Robin Atkin Downes, Jenna-Louise Coleman, Trace Beaulieu, George Lowe, Joe Dante, Willem Dafoe, Jeffrey Brown, Maurice LaMarche, Alan Oppenheimer, Penn & Teller (last success 10/14/14)
