I'm sorry but you are so wrong its unbelievable. Don't tell me that 9-11 wasn't a good enough reason to go into iraq. Just because it didn't happen in your country doesn't mean that it's nothing and we should blow it over, if it happened there if it was your family you would not be saying what youre saying, i have never met someone so rude in my life. What do you want us to do ignore that they killed 3,000 somthing of our people and wait around till they do it again? Or how about wait till they use weapons of mass destruction. yeah thats smart. way to go, thank god your not president. It really is a shame that this thread is probably going to be locked because certain PEOPLE can't have some respect.

I find it extremly disrespectful how you try to justify the Iraq war. Saddam Hussein, the Iraq and the Iraqi people have got nothing to do with 9/11. You're mixing up Afghanistan and Iraq.
I have lost a family member in last year's London bombing but that doesn't make me to a sympathizer of the Bush administration.
A Muslim is not a terrorist, but that's what people in the US get told by their administration. A Muslim has the same rights as a Catholic, a Protestant, a Buddhist, etc. Only a very few of the 1.2 billion Muslims worldwide are so-called extreme Muslims who tend to follow someone like Bin Laden.
Before we discuss this issue any further you might want to look up an atlas and an encyclopedia and get to know the differences between Iraq and Afghanistan.
Up til today there has been no political reason nor any danger for the USA and their people why the Bush administration marched into Iraq. Once again the Iraq war has only been started because of economic interests.
However I've recognised in the past that US people are not the best to discuss world politics since most are too blinded by what they get told by their administration.
Best,
Stephan

So therefore it's obvious that every soldier knows the risk of dying in combat or service. The innocent CIVILIAN people in the WTC towers didn't by "will" or otherwise sign up for laying their lives on the line in defense of the country. That's why it's reflected on as such a tragedy. The beauty part of democracy is that citizens can reflect and learn from such a tragedy without making a political statement about if they agree with Pres. Bush about going to war over terrorism. I found it highly laughable that we should "avoid" terrorism. The old "turn your head the other way and maybe it's not the boogeyman in the closet" routine that my son uses? It didn't work before 9-11 and it's not going to be happening in the future, thank god.R.S.V.P wrote:Let me correct you on this:elmomommyto1 wrote:(...)not a single one of those people who were killed asked to die that day, nor did they volunteer to join an army to fight terrorism(...)
Every soldier of the US Army joined the Army because it's been his/her own will. They were never forced to sign the contract and when someone is working as a soldier nomatter where it's an occupational hazard that you may get killed at work. Policemen, Firemen, Riggers and hundreds of other jobs have the same occupational hazard and they all know of the risk to get killed while practising their work.
Needless to say that 9/11 has been a tragedy but Europeans (except for the British folks) get tired of the fact that the Bush administration is abusing 9/11 as a doctrine to justify their war in Iraq.
Best,
Stephan

Listen you need to stop, looking at your reputation around here im sure a lot of people feel the same way I do when I say you are extremely disrecpectful, you act like you know what youre talking about and you don't. What you write does not make sense. Stop acting like you know more and youre better, youre not get that through your head. I don't care what your political views are I could care less. What im pissed off about is that you started all this crap here when I started a thread for remembrance and you come in here all why is 9-11 being broadcasted so much acting like it wasn't a big deal. For some of us like myself we lost friends and family that day and it is a big deal. Maybe for your country it isn't, but do we care? no. This was not the place for you to run your mouth like you did. Maybe you don't agree with why Bush went into Iraq but don't come here and try and say what we did was wrong. We did what we had to do and thats that we went to look for WMD thats a good enough reason. Now end this, youre giving me a headache.Dear gregorysmith,
