ahhh i was cringing the whole time! i'm with you, what IF alicia didn't make those 3 mistakes. but like you said she still did good and was probably under a lot of pressure. shawn johnson - get that all around!

Well it seems im the only aussie going to post here lol. Anyways been loving the Olympics especially the swimming. I hate to say it and i apologise to all Americans but i love it when we beat you guys in the Pool. Micheal Phelps is a freak and deserves to be considered a swimming god but he is the only American i dont mind to see win :P.
And i love the Gymnastics as well, im just proud of the Aussie girls, we arnt known for it as much as the Americans or Chinese but to finish 6th is a big effort in the Olympics cause its the best we have ever done :D

been mainly watching the boxing myself. its pretty much the only one team gb have any hope in outside boats/bikes which i get bored stiff watching. although the canoe slalom thing was pretty cool.

watching the womens gymnastics now. really dont like that, they all look very up themselves, its probably jsut that weird posing around they have to do but they all look like they need knocking down a peg or two :P glad china won, just for that really little one :P

whens the track and field stuff start? thats the proper olympics, not fat people shooting :lol:

i just saw a 15 year old from russia im confussed>
i'm confused on that too. the chinese look 12 so whatever.
if they were 15, i think thats cos they have to be 16 in the olympic year, which suggests that as long as some time in 2008 they're 16, thats alright. i doubt much younger than that they would have the strength or discipline to do that kind of stuff anyway.
the chinese all look young anyway, probably a size thing. ive got a friend who is almost 18 but you wouldn't put her much older than 14 :lol:

I felt so bad for both those little girls who sang at the opening ceremony. The "cute" one because now everyone's saying she's not talented and the "ugly" one for being called ugly. It's sick to do that to little kids {down}

the little girl that sung at the opening ceremony wasn't actually singing, she was lip synching another girls voice. the 'other girl' they said was too ugly to perform at the opening ceremonys. :cry:
