Ahhh, but Obama doesn't approve of drilling on our own soil...
We have more than enough to sell our own instead of having to buy from Middle Eastern and Central American countries.
It would be a lot cheaper as well. However, it would take time.
But if gas prices keep going up, the average American isn't going to be able to afford to go anyplace.
Gas prices don't just affect driving, either. It affects everything.

Better to have a vice president with only two years of experience than a president with only two years of experience. Even though Obama is a good speaker, McCain is a way better candidate in my opinion. Plus I really like Sarah Palin, she'll make a great VP. It's awesome because for the first time in my life I wil get to vote in this election. It will be really interesting to see what happens

I still don't agree that Palin was the wisest of choices to become a VP. I think McCain just did it to throw off the media and for them to make fun of her. I love SNL. lol
Personally, I don't disagree with a lot of what McCain says. Without Palin, I don't think he'd be a bad president. But the reality is, McCain is 72 years old and he is not exactly a picture of health. There is every likelihood that Sarah Palin could become president, and that is what frightens me.
I don't understand how people can say Palin would make a good VP. All I've been hearing is she can relate to hockey moms and Joe six-packs. But I would personally prefer to have a vice-president in power that was educated on the issues, especially the economy, considering the crisis we are going through right now, rather than a VP you could have a beer with or go hunting with.

Anyone watch the last presidential debate? It was pretty interesting...I was with Obama the first two, but this one I was sort of leaning towards McCain. He seemed to do pretty good in my opinion...
I think McCain did the worst job at last nights debate. He seemed very nervous and studdered alot. Obama, in my opinion, won the debate. McCain really needs to redeem himself if he even wants a chance to win. I really think/hope Obama will will.
