How many people from other countries send a letter from Shia and got a reply back? The reason why I am asking is because it seems only people who live in the states get a reply back.

The Feedback forum is for what it is says - posting your successes or failures, not for asking questions.

From what I've seen, as with any celebrity - your location does not matter. Shia has replied to persons outside the USA before.

On a less relevant point, I wouldn't feel too sorry for someone who caused their own injuries by drunk driving. He should be locked up for months - he could've killed innocent people.

I wrote to Shia last year and about 3 months later I got back an authentic signed photo. {thumb2} I live in South Africa but I sent a SASE as Shia only responds with those.

I live in France and I got a reply from him. I sent a SASE too, because as Lizanne said, it seems that he only answers with a SASE.

agreed. isn't this his second offense too? if he were a normal person he'd go to jail for years.

Yeah, it's a real pity about Shia, he's such a talented actor but his fame seems to have gotten to his head.

Well I'm not exactly sticking up for him but just because he was drunk driving and got caught twice doesn't mean that his fame has gone to his head... I mean, I don't know how he acts otherwise, but if he does act stuck up then nevermind.

I don't blame these famous people for not going to jail when they mess up, I blame the legal system for letting them go. I think if any one of us had enough power to keep ourselves out of jail, we'd do it.
