Thoughts on Breaking Dawn? *Spoilers*

For those of you that read the book, what did you think? I expected more and to me the book seemed too long. I thought that Breaking Dawn just felt like it belonged in a completely different series. It didn't have the same feel as the other three.
I thought that the book was too much of a happy/perfect thing. Bella ends up with everything and a baby (or as i like to call it the demon child  ) and she lives happily ever after at the end. I was just upset because no one died (sorta), their was no big fight, and honestly she didn't deserve that happy ending. With Deathly Hallows, Harry lost so many people that in the end, all that he went through, he earned the happiness. Anyone agree?
On another note did anyone find it weird and strange that Jacob imprints on renesme?

I totally agree. Its not my favorite book but it was good and it was way different than the other books. Hearing Jacob's part of the book was ... new I guess. I think she gave the fans some of what they wanted and some stuff we didn't expect or want. Nothing can beat Harry Potter though, JK Rowling is just an amazing writer. The Jacob imprinting on Nessie was just odd and I wonder how she'll respond to that. She's gonna have some explaining to do! :)

Ok I finally got myself together got all four Twilight books 5 days ago and read them all. I am a HUGE Harry Potter fan so at first I really didn't want to read the Twilight sega and now I am so happy. I think Twilight is my favorite book out of all and I liked the others as well. Breaking Dawn was a good book in my opinion but not exactly my favorite. I would have liked to see a battle scene in it and I did not like the fact that Jake imprinted with Bella's daughter. I know he had to find someone else but come on? That was lame. Another thing is if they make this a movie, how scary or gross will it be when Bella is in labor and throws up all that blood, her blood vessels pop in her eyes ext...When I was done with Eclipse however, I really wanted a story told from Edwards view and hench I found out on her site her writting and first chapter of Midnight Sun. Twilight from Edwards point of view. I can hardly wait for that!

i agree...i would have loved to see a big fight. not necessarily deaths, but a fight. a death or two would have made it mroe realistic, but then again this is a book about vampires and werewolves, haha. it was very graphic during the birth of the child i thought, kinda gross in some ways. a little too sugar-coated with the happily ever after ending, but i'm glad to see edward and bella together (team edward since the beginning :D )

I don't know why this one took me so long when I finished all of the others in a day or two.
But I just finished it last night, getting it on the 1st day.

I thought it was good, but you're right.
It seemed really really different from the others.

There is still a lot left hanging that Stephenie Meyer could write another book
in Bella's perspective. Sadly, we get Edward's from Twilight.
