Vic Reeves lives near me

I have long known that the commedian Vic Reeves (real name Jim Moir) lives in Sturry which is 5 minutes from Canterbury in Kent where I live. I often see him in town with his wife Nancy Sorrell. He often is in HMV. Basiclly I would love to get both thier autographs in person but this is the one time I have seen afraid to ask for an autograph. Im not sure why. Partly because Vic Reeves isnt his real name and im not sure if it is appropriatte to ask for an autograph when they are doing there shopping.

What do you think. I will probably give it a go next time I see them at the right time.

Hes a nice guy im sure he would say YES.

And just ask him using his "stage name" because thats how he is know to the public and the name he has used to become famous.

Personally I wouldn't, but that's just me. I wouldn't like to be approached in the street, even if Vic is lovely and would happily sign for you, I'd rather leave him be when he's on his own time.

well i think you should just aproach him you dont have to be forcefull just go up to him say excuse me im sorry to bug you but im a huge fan and im wondering if you can sign this for me thanks.

ive only met a celeb twice on their own time but ya this is basically what me and my dad, i met hall of fame baseball player ralph kiner waiting for the elevator at a baseball game and at first my dad asked if he(ralph kiner) would be in a picture with me, then when he envetually found a pen(my dad had to find a pen) he asked for a autograph when we got on the elevator.

and also i met former blue jay third basemen kelly gruber at a charity event one night, we saw him outside first and we asked to take a picture then we saw their were a few people asking him for autographs at his table that night and im like lets just ask him for his auto and so we did and he signed for me. both guys are true gentlemen btw

btw all the other times ive met celebs have been at signings or players signing before games

When I met him last year (both him and Sorrell), he wasn't too happy to sign, but she was.. so it's hard to tell. :neutral:
