Hi.

I thought, that this would make an interesting topic, as so many (including me) have autographs of some very old stars.

The oldest celeb, I've is the 104 year old All dancing, all singing wonder who is Ms Doris Eaton Travis, who still manages a 880 acra ranch, and was serving dinner (or helping to) to a huge party a few months back. Oh and she recieved her masters degree, at 101 from Oakland uni.

That the oldest: so what are yours????


To be fair on these, it is only the ones who still seem happy to sign!!!!

Mine arnt really close to yours

80 year old bernard Cribbins (Doctor Who)
yesterday I got 86 Year old Liz smith (actress)

The rest arn't really that old, between 50 and 70

I prefer Classic TV to most things so most of my collection will be older actors and Doctor Who

Surely Dick Van Dyke at 82 is one of the oldest signers. I know there was talk they may be secretarials but dont think they are

This is an intersting topic but I am a bit concerned that it might result to spammers/ dealers abusing the list of old signers and mailing of to them for their rare autographs :S

Anyways, I would say Rochus Misch. He is 93 now and there has been a reported success from him a year or so ago. He has been on my to do list for a while now but still haven't wrote to him..

I know that, they are them who may worry, about spammers and the like, but I did say, only names of them, that dont mind, signing.

If we become too worried, about who writes to them, then Why have there address, in the database to begin with??????

As the only way we can stop spammers, ever writing to them, is to remove their address, all together from the site :mad: :mad:

We must remember, most of these old stars, absolutely love fanmail, and it keeps them happy, and feel they are loved.

Isn't Gloria Stuart on of the oldest? Born 1910!

I meant that addresses of "old celeb signers" might encourage spammers/ dealers requesting autographs from them as they are "old" and might pass away and their autograph will therefore rise in value.
