What can I say? Congrats to Obama; but I really wonder what he can change except increasing taxes during a finacial crisis. Also, I don't think talking to terrorist and extreamist without preconditions is such a good idea :?

Anyways, he is a guy with a good heart so I hope he can not only bring about changes to the world but good changes.

There's no regrets for McCain - he tried his best and there was nothing he could have done. He is a men with one of the most rich and intersting life and this campaign has certinatly been a fullfilling full stop to his political carrer and he has gotten the whole world to know him.

Congrats, Mr. President-elect Barrack Obama.

Unfortunately it's entirely over for us McCain supporters: there was hope left with early polls showing that Obama would have fewer electoral counts (which aren't finalized until December 15--but it's pretty much a shoe-in this year it will be OBama).

I have to say that Senator McCain will always be one to be admired by this country. In terms of service to the country, not one more of any of these candidates deserved it mroe than he did; honestly, no matter how you look at it: John McCain deserved it the most. A veteran, POW, long-time Senator, bid for President-nom twice, made and passed laws, helped with the Homeland Secruity Counsel and 9/11 "research" (please no comments on that!!!!! Haha), etc. This man has spent his entire life serving the great country he loves, but there's nothing more to do. McCain made a very impresive and composed speech, and was very respectful of Senator Obama.

And to all you Palin haters: WHY? What has she done that's so awful that she doesn't deserve to win? Her and Obama are on par people--for the most part. Both have EXTREMELY limited experience, both are talented speakers (even if you don't like what Palin says/"the order of the words she's sayin'"! or her tactics at responding), both are a minority in the eyes of politics (Black man & Woman). You're problem is you have voted in an unexperienced man & a life-long, and ignorant VP, who repeatedly has said before it was official Obama was the candidate that Obama was extremely unqualified and not ready. Obama has done little in Congress, if nothing at all on a national scale -- what makes everyone think he can do this?

I'm just saying that when you go ahead and bash Palin, just remember you voted in/supported someone who had equally extreme little experience.

But I won't try to disrupt too much, Conrats Obama/dems, but I'm pretty sure the "CHANGE" Obama has described has been attempted by all presidents? What president hasn't stood/wanted Change??

Congratulations to President Obama. John McCain put up a great fight and should be congratulated also. But to say you have to vote for him because he was a war hero and p.o.w and gave his entire life to the government, bull crap. To quote Carlos Mencia " You want me to vote for a man who was in a war we lost, and he was caught, not to mention he blew up 3 planes

I'm sure this post will get a lot of crap but it was kinda funny

I'm not saying that you should vote for McCain because of the service that he has done for our country, but simply that he is much more deserving of the presidency than Obama is/will be. And please, no race card here, there have been plenty of well-known black politicians who have and could have ran, and Obama simply beat them to it/somehow got this big fanbase.

And to be honest, I find Carlos Mencia to never be funny. Are you aware he has to entirely demean an entire group/individuals to get a laugh? Why is it in this day & age that we always must demean anyone to get a laugh. Also, since he's a "wetback" he probably couldn't vote, or would vote for Obama simply because of his "minority role." He is extremely distasteful, and it's upsetting that not only you, but a good portion of people are not only swayed by what he says (which are usually overexagerations), but the fact that he has that much disrespect for war veterans (who are fighting over ____ all the time so that he has a right to say it) and John McCain like that is a low. If anyone did that to Obama, 48756847487587488754 people would be staging protests/etc. because it's racist/wrong/he's the right candidate.

Obama, how's the stock market doing today after your "first day" of being president? Oh right .. awfully. (Not to say it's specifically his fault, it's all the wallstreet people who didn't think he'd be a good fit for president, and thehy were probably right).
