Hi,
Things are really bad in your country?Well it is surely bad in mine.As you can see I live in Trinidad and maybe you have heard how bad the crime is.Well if you haven't it is truly terrible. So many innocent lives are lost

.There were serious killings for children 6-8 years, well two major ones for the year that will never be forgotten. Now I wanted to share this with you,In 2006,I met a second cousin when she was five. She is my dad's cousin daughter and that day she was very sociable for her age and although we were a huge age difference we played together that day.I only met her because my uncle who lived away visited and wanted to visit family all over!So in 2007 my uncle visited them with us again and she had forgotten us but we still managed to play a lot and we went by them two days in a row that year.Total times seen is 3 times.
Now on Friday we got the news that someone was killed and when I asked my mom she told me the girl who showed us her hamster when we visited last time.Although I did not know her that much or was not close to her,I felt like screaming

.She was only 7 years and she was killed in her cousin's house right opposite her house.Young people,16 and 17 years are doing these kind of things. They were looking for someone in that house and randomly began shooting and she was the closest to the door and she got shot in her neck

.I still can't believe it and I am truly shocked. Her family is horrified and it is all over the news.

I feel like everything is falling apart. Right now, at this time, the US economy is bad. I mean, bad BAD. Like almost half the nation is losing their jobs and everything is so expensive now.

Thanks to a brilliant Finance Minister and Reserve Bank Govenor, South Africa's been pretty much untouched by the worldwide economic slump! So that's really cool, obviously we just have a major problem with crime but that's about it!
Synclaire, I'm sorry about your situation over there. My thoughts are with you.

Australia has been doing ok throughout this tough period. Our PM has been spending like there is no tommorrow on new projects to create jobs and is keeping the problems at bay. Our crime rate isnt to bad and generally things seem ok from my view.
Synclaire im so sorry that things are bad for you right now, i guess i cant imagine what life is like since i havent been in tht situation but im still sorry.

Sadly, that's true [I live in the US too.].
Where I live, (I know we're not talking about cities, but...) it seems like everyone is trying to kill one another.

wow thats really sad synclaire. i live in canada(toronto) and were having a rougher year then usual but definetly not as bad as you trinidad. but still just the other day a 12 year old boy was shot in the leg for no reason(he lived) and a 17 year old girl was stabbed at the train station. are murder total is around 70 this year, i know its not all that bad but its still sad.
