HALO MOVIE

Hey i have searched High and low and i can not find anything about the Halo movie that Peter Jackson was working on "Some of those involved have said the project is "dead", but Peter Jackson, the executive producer, continues to claim that this film will get made. In other words it's on hold." Anyone know anything about this??? PLEASE HELP!
