The $10 Gift Certificate Scam

The title says it all - The $10 Gift Certificate Award is a scam; in fact it has been a scam for 6 months! :shock:

See it for yourself, according to admin's very own "Winner's list" - there hasn't been a winner since March 2009, and he is supposedly "working on it". Well it is taking a heck of a lot of time for admin to "work on it" isn't it -as it has been half a year since we had a winner for the competition!? :neutral:

Having seen how much this site has fall in terms of quality in the last months it is not hard to understand why admin's business partners no longer wants to do business with him. In this case the gift certificate company no longer wants to donate $10 gift certs to his forum. But that's not the problem - the issue here is that admin tries to scam us into believing that the competition is still going on and fool us into thinking there will be "a winner soon". :?

Admin, if you no longer have sponsors from the Gift Certificate company just stop pretending you still do; stop pretending the competition is still going on, and stop telling people to upload scans of their envelope to "enter" a "competition" with no award!? {down}

Actually I don't mind not winning it. I collect autographs because I enjoy it as a hobby. I don't feel like I have to collect just so I can win a $10 gift card. :neutral: More than likely everything on the site is probably more than $10.00 anyway so I'd still have to pay for something even if I won it. :neutral: Just my thoughts. ;-)

The point though Ryan is not about the $10 Gift Cert. I don't really care about it too. Admin however is pretending the Gift Cert Draw is still runing when it hasn't been for half a year. :neutral:

Why does it matter? Seriously. It's not a "scam" for heavens sake. It's only a scam if the people entering loose out on something, and they're not. Admin doesnt have to run one at all.

And last I checked, March was 3 months ago.

Seriously, does anyone care that much about the $10 gift card? :neutral: Is anyone really here just for the sole purpose of getting the card? :neutral:

Is this discussion seriously coming up?
I never even knew about it until my successes started coming in.
You should collect because it's a hobby, not for money.

well i have to disagree with everbody here, if Admin says that he is going to give a $10 card to whatever than he should do it. if he does not want to do it anymore than he should not say your in the running for it everytime you have a success.

Seriously guys, I can't care less about the $10 Gift Cert. LOL do you guys seriously think I collect autographs to win a Gift Cert :lol:

The point is, and Ryco, whos a 13 year old seems to be the only person who gets it {up} - Admin is pretending there is a competition going on, telling members they are "in run for a $10 Gift Cert" when they aren't :neutral:

Now do you guys honestly don't think theres anything wrong with the site admin scamming his members with a "competition" with no awards? If so, all right - lets allow admin to continue having his way in fooling us around and pursuing his own imaginary agenda :roll:

It is not a 'scam' {nonono}
Admin doesnt have to run the competition all at once ;-)
