it's not non-fiction but if you're into the Twilight series, you should totally try reading the Fever series by Karen Marie Moning or Vampire Academy- Richelle Mead, they are along the same lines of Twilight and I highly recommend them if you like the Twilight series and I just read Prom Night From Hell- it's a great collection of short stories from Stephenie Meyer, Meg Cabot and others

for Non-Fiction (these are some of my favorite non-fictions)

The Forbidden Schoolhouse - The True and Dramatic Story of Prudence Crandall and Her Students by Suzanne Jurmain
Three Cups of Tea
Tasting the Sky- a Palestinian Childhood by Ibtisam Barakat
Harry, A History: The True Story of a Boy Wizard, His Fans, and Life Inside the Harry Potter Phenomenon by Melissa Anelli
Long Way Gone by Ishmael Beah
Tweak by Nic Sheff
BlackOut Girl by Jennifer Storm
Girlbomb by Janice Erlbaum
Have You Found Her- Janice Erlbaum
Persepolis by Marjane Satrapi
Things I have To Tell You edited by Betsy Franco

Have you read A Child Called It- Dave Pelzer or Finding Fish- Antwone Fisher- since you mentioned books on abuse, those are two good ones

there's a couple other ones I found like Go Ask Alice, but I can't remember the names, I found them just browsing at my local library- which I totally recommend if you have one near you, just because I've found so many books I normally wouldn't have picked up if I wasn't browsing

I like the Chicken Soup series too

sorry for the long list, I just had a couple that I loved

I love Go Ask Alice! :)

The Child Called It trilogy is good too.

The Girl Next Door is pretty creepy, and about abuse, though it isn't non-fiction.

I dunno, I'll think about this more.
