RTS could be a good thing ...I wish i got more.
I have only ever received back 2 rts for wrong addresses but i have sent out alot of requests i have never received anything back from at all.I just wish that any agency or venue that does not plan on passing on fanmail would give it back to the postman marked rts because that way for 1 you would not sit around wondering for months will i get something back or should i try again you would just know and for 2 you would get back your pictures and envelope and for someone who lives in canada i would like to get back envelopes i send with us stamps on them so i could use it for someone else.I just don't understand why agencies or venues would rather toss them in the garbage than return them, returning them would only help them because word would get out they dont pass on mail and people would stop sending it and they wouldnt have to deal with it at all.Sometimes i think some nobody just likes to take them home and read them for fun but who knows.

Me too. Or the certain person could at least release a statement or something (Hey, at least we know where all our requests to Ringo Starr will go, for example.) because it sucks waiting for a long time and never recieveing a reply.

Hello,
Yes I completely agree with you. I have only ever received one RTS and that was from Mischa Barton in 2006 which I actually just re-sent out this week. It is quite annoying because I always put my address on the envelope so instead of returning them to me they must just get thrown out.
It would be better to get a RTS so you don't keep waiting and wondering when there is no chance of getting anything back, and also to get back the pictures/IRC's etc. that you enclosed so they don't go to waste.

If the star doesn't want to sign our items then they should just refuse them so that we can get our items back. Yes, they probably end up in the trash somewhere.

I haven't received any RTS's yet, I wish I would though. I have wasted so much money on non-replies...bogus.

Yeah i have spent alot of money on stamps envelopes and printing pictures for non replies and i try not to think about it because its just the way the hobby is, i just hate when you pour your heart and soul out in a letter hoping for someones autograph you really want and then never get anything back its a bit depressing but what can you do.When you do get back a cool auto you realize why you try but still there will always be those ones you really want and can't seem to get.

I agree. I've received 2 RTS's but it's much better than not getting anything back
