I don't know... maybe I still hate them for causing the cancellations of Everwood, Veronica Mars and Reaper.

But the channel kinda worries me - they've been gearing their entire lineup towards young girls, but many of their shows seem to provide very poor role models for them. Perhaps that's arguable, but I wouldn't want a daughter who looks up to the characters from Gossip Girl or 90210 or TBL. And I really don't understand why they're so desperate to get the W18-34 demo either - it's certainly working, but they're losing all of their other viewers. For example - this Monday's Gossip Girl had the most female viewers between the ages of 18 to 34, but they also had the fewest overall viewers that night, with under 2 million. For comparison, Dancing with the Stars and House both topped 17 million - that's nearly 9x as many. Just seems like a bad business move to just target one type of audience and ditch the rest.

the only cw show i watch is one tree hill, i dont hate the cw i just dont watch a lot of their originate programming. i also used to love gilmore girls when it was on, but it ended 2 and a half years ago .

I don't hate it or anything; the only show I watch on there is The Vampire Diaries. I just find the channel very boring and cliche. The shows look exactly the same and the previews for them look like they're advertising the same show. :neutral:

Yeah, a lot of the shows are quite similar and seem to revolve around some variation of a privileged girl with superficial problems. And I can't help but feel that there's going to be even more of the same to come next season after One Tree Hill, Supernatural and Smallville will (probably) be canceled.

I don't make a habit of watching network TV. I won't be watching anything on the CW.

I didn't think TBL had any actual fans. It's the least watched show on broadcast TV. I'd be surprised if it doesn't get pulled off the air in the next few weeks (probably replaced with Life Unexpected or a 90210/Vampire rerun), because the ratings are dangerously low.

Talk about timing - it was just announced that TBL is being pulled off the air.

I think that sucks; I was actually thinking about watching an episode of it, only I hadn't seen many advertisements for it at all (but plenty of advertisements for their other shows such as Melrose and 90210...), so I had no idea what day or time it would come on. Now I guess I’ll never watch it now. :neutral:

BTW There Were ALOTY of Ads For The Show...There Were Photo Shoots And Posters Around NYC...And Yes They Do Show Commercials....Their Audiences Didnt Like It...I DID...But O Well..
