It has been confirmed that her book The Host is going to be made into a movie. Is anyone else excited? Any one have any ideas for a cast?

its about ailens and humans. I am not really into sci fi but this book was very good just to warn you the first 200 pages are eh and kinda boring but then it really gets good

Yes I am so excited about this. I don't really know who I would like to star in the film but I have images in my head of what the characters look like so hopefully they will do a nice job casting if they follow the book closely.

I have also heard that she has considered writing two sequels - The Soul and The Seeker, that would be amazing if she did!
The Host is by far the best book I have ever read, it has the most amazing and original story. As much as I love Twilight, The Host is a million times better in my opinion. I had never been so hooked on a book in my life as I was reading The Host! I would love for the story to continue

I heard that there are supposed to be two books as well. As for who I can see in the movie, I've always seen Nikki Reed as Melanie and William Petersen as either the doc or uncle jeb.
