BRAZILTRAILRED: THE ONE OF MANY.
Safety? Isn't that the most important thing when you trade online? Well it is for many and should be for all. There's nothing worse than getting scammed online. Paying or sending an autograph and waiting for your's to arrive; only to find out it never will. Braziltrailred is the most recent trader exposed; but he is just one of the many. There are bad guys in the society; and they can't all get caught. So who's responsibility is it to condemn these scammers and make sure they are banned before they can do any harm? It has got to be the site administrator's.
NO PROTECTION.
Now, admin on this site does not have the best record with protecting his member's does he? It was only 5 months ago when members had their account and even hotmail, paypal accounts hacked - because of admin's lack of attention with this site's safety. He clearly hasn't learnt his lesson as it is still ever so easy to scam on Fanmail.
30 SECS TO SIGN UP; PM TO SCAM.
It literally takes 30 seconds to sign up an account on Fanmail, and start trading on the forum. Now, yes we do have a rule that members must have a certain amount of post in the trades section. But what many of these scammers do is look up other people's trade thread, and PM members who are interested in a specific autograph pretending to have it, asking them to pay and not sending them anything!
What we need is a soild and safe trading system. One where members with less than 50 posts can't post nor read the trades section. One where members can post feedbacks for other members with a proper feedback system. One where sellers and buyers and traders are all protected. Seeing as Fanmail can't offer that and it is simply not going to be done by our admin, we need an alternative.
