I just wondered when everyone starts their Christmas shopping? I started a couple of weeks ago myself. I always buy the early bird Christmas cards (last years stock sold off cheaply) as they're usually the same as they'll bring out again this year but with different packaging! This year I got 20 puppy and kitten cards from It's A gift for 85p!
I'll start buying presents this week as I've just been paid

I don't celebrate Christmas, so I don't have to spend money or get jammed in stores with hundreds of other shoppers.

No need to aww, I'm not Christian.
You definitely won't get jammed if you shop early, or just over the course of the year, but a lot of people will wait for Black Friday - that's when the insane jamming occurs. Especially in the city.. people running each other over (literally), lines as far as the eye can see, it's chaos.

Yeah, the news footage can get pretty hilarious. Especially the videos of the moment the doors open, and hundreds of people rush in - it looks like footage from a post-apocalyptic movie. Do you remember the one from a few years ago when someone fell while rushing into the store and her wig fell off her head? That one takes the cake.

We do our Christmas shopping all throughout the year, as and when we see things so it's saves time and money. When most people are just buying their presents, I'll have them wrapped already. There is no need for it to be such a rushed and stressed time of the year. People just make it that way.
Also bought a few edibles already. M&S had some great offers on chocolates that couldn't be passed!
