I have to say first off Nicholas is a brilliant actor and nothing will change my opinion on that but I wish they would leave Only Fools and Horses alone; it was a fantastic series and I would watch another series but I wasnt hapy with the spin off THE GREEN GREEN GRASS and although I will watch it I think the writer, John Sullivan doesnt want to let got of othe original which is a classic and milking it.

personally, dont think this can be as bad as green green grass, im thinking it will just be as dull as the recent christmas specials, but without all the characters that actually made them watchable. dont have high hopes for this one

The Green Green Grass was terrible, I hope this is better.

My grandad loved "Green Green Grass" but I haven't watched a single episode since he passed away. I think Sue Holderness is fabulous as Marlene and perhaps should have had more to do in "Only Fools..." but Green Green Grass is just dire!

I think they should stop messing with the "Only Fools...."formula and just show the repeats every now and again! The appeal of the early episodes was that Rodney was young & naive and Del was older, supposedly wiser and living on his wits. They're too old to pull off those roles now! It was a fantastic show that should be left alone, in my opinion. {thumb2}
