1 year collecting! :)

To be honest, I think I started collecting this so I could learn patience (and so I could get a hobby that no one else I knew had.)
So in November and December I sent a whole batch of letters out to celebs I liked (and a few my parents liked) - and it wasn't until January of '09 when I got my first autograph (which was from Mary Costa). Man, was I excited.
...and that's my story. xD
So I have about 30 now; still waiting on a bunch more.

yeah
ive been collecting about 1 year + 1 month
i love it...but it does end up being really distracting and interferes with my school work
i can remember my first response...
i got a letter back from Buckingham Palace...one of the queens people sent me a letter...its still one of my most cherished responses....even though its a failure.
i love this hobby!

i've been collecting for just over a year too it is so amazing and fun and something i enjoy so much!
