About two weeks ago I broke my right arm. And it was a bit embarrasing how I did it. I was trying out my new mountain bike, and I forgot about the curb. With a nice dive/twist I landed in the middle of the street, on my arm. And the embarrasing thing was that almost al of my neighbours and both of my sisters watched me do it.

Did anything like that ever happend to any of you?

i was riding on the back bumper of a moving SUV...
i fell off and got a medium concussion
i went to the hospital....vomitted in the multi million dollar CAT scan machine
and then slept for the next three days.
fun
needless to say i wont be doing that again

Yea, twice actually
1st: I broke my wrist opening Roller Blades. I was around 8. I was opening them and standing like they were closed, in 50cm away from the door. Of course I feel down and broke my wrist. I could be worse as it wouldn't be hard to hit doors with my head.
2nd: this is one of the most embarrassing moments in my life actually. I was trying to jump on the pavement with my bike. My bike just went straight and I fell down on small stones. Huh, it hurt! And the most embarrassing was that 4 people were chating near that place where I fell and they just couldn't stop laughing. At least I made someone's day, right? That happened last year. Oh and of course, I was wearing my favourite trousers.

Well...

When I was 8 I broke my left arm on playground equipment. It was embarrassing - as everyone was circling around me. I think if I wasn't wearing my gloves that day, it would've have happened. :neutral:

In 8th grade, I was getting off the bus and I slipped. Everyone laughed, and I was hurt. But yeah. I can laugh about it now.

I'm kinda of a klutz, lol.

4th practice into my senior year, first year on the varsity baseball team. we were practicing catching fly balls in the gym and i ran to catch one and ran straight into the concrete wall, breaking my left (throwing) wrist and getting 4 stitches in my eyebrow.

Missed almost the entire season.

Hahaha no, it's ok guys. But I cannot help laughing just a little. I mean, let's be honest, if it would happen to some one else, and I was watching it, I would probably laugh to.



I'm just glad that my splint can come of friday. I still get a regular cast, but it will be much lighter.

ouch! that must of been mortifying!

Nope, nothing happened to me..nearest was twisting my ankle falling off my trampoline a couple of years back when I was 13.
