Isaiah wrote:Musicfan, your CAPS are construed as shouting, as it's not a normal or commonly accepted form of grammar. When you post a long-winded explanation of your point of view, it becomes even more long-winded and difficult to understand when you post in CAPS. It comes across as a rant rather than an informative, logical post. I don't think that you post like this maliciously, I just know how it comes across (To me at least).

Personally I have no problems with you, but I do agree with this post. I understand you are just trying to emphasize your thoughts. But if you post whole sentences in caps or even just words, it comes over like yelling, it can even come over as aggressive or at the very least rude.
You might want to consider leaving out CAPS out of any of your posts, except when it's it at the beginning of a sentence. It might help your situation of being perceived as a smart mouth, like you mentioned ;)
Just some constructive advice. Do with it as you please.
O Ok...Thank You Much Sir! Have a Good Weekend!

Have to agree with some of the previous posters. While I'm sure you don't have any ill intentions, ALL CAPS is generally considered as shouting on the internet, and many people will perceive it as such. The other thing is that you seem to use LOL a lot at the end of your ALL CAPS posts.. if someone thinks you're shouting at them, they might think you're laughing at them too. I actually used to think you yelled and laughed at me a lot and didn't understand why, until I eventually grew to understand that's just how you normally post.
But either way, a happy Thanksgiving to you and everyone else here.

I agree that it is the use of caps (whether for whole sentences, random words or the beginning of each word) makes it very difficult to read your posts and therefore understand your meaning. I have pointed it out to you before, hoping that a change in formatting would ease the situation, but it doesnt seem to have been taken on board. I hope you understand that we don't mean it harshly and feel it's in your best interest (not only is it easier to read, using capitals in the appropriate manner is easier to type too ;)) Using underline excessively can have the same effect too.

Hi!
Yes, sometimes you are rude. I found you very rude some time ago (there are many reports on your posts and that made me think) but now you're ok to me ...Well, it doesn't matter.
All I can say is: think before you act. You can be very helpful and nice. Also, I agree that using caps is not such a good idea. Well, that doesn't make you a worse user so that's not so important. That's your style.
Have a nice day Jordan!
Thanks to Seb for my beautiful set!

The writing in caps has been covered so I wont comment on that as theres no need.
The other thing is your general writing style. You're 22 apparently - and (again, apparently) a kindergarten teacher - yet you type like a 12 year old with so many smilies and demented spellings (KRAZY for example). Also a lack of punctuation, massive spelling errors, elongating words repeatedly (example - LIKE SOOOOOOOO ANNNOOOYYYINGGGG LOOOOOOOOL). Also add in the arrogance, for example being told/shown something and still refusing to believe it because you dont want to, and you have a whole list of problems.
I dont think you realise that
a) Is very, VERY annoying
b) Its often very hard to read/understand
Your whole typing style is frankly idiotic for a "22yr old kindergarten teacher" and probably causes arguments because people get annoyed reading it. Then you come back AND TYPE ALL IN CAPS AND UNDERLINING IT OMG AND LOOK WHAT HAPPENS.
Just a thought ;)
