We see remakes for movies, what about a remake of MASH?

We see remakes for movies all the time, what about a remake of the TV sitcom MASH? Its been 25 years since MASH last aired, i would love to see an updated version of the show on network TV with an all new cast. It could be a complete remake, or a different unit of MASH. Maybe even introduce a female Surgeon to the cast of characters.

Remakes often suck, I have never been a big fan of remakes. I always enjoyed M.A.S.H., I would hate for them to ruin its legacy with a horrible remake.

M*A*S*H was a movie that they remade as a TV series. Wasn't a fan back then why would I watch a tired retread now?
