Hi all:)
I have got a homework, could you help me with it, please?
It is English and I love it, but I want to do it very good without mistakes.
I know, my English is not really good ( probably there is one mistake in each sentence which I write ;D ).
Can you help?
Complete the sentences with the correct words:
1. At the cinema I like watching _d_ _ _ _ _ before the film starts.
2. Your feet are ice cold! Put on a pair of warm _ _ _ k _.
3. A pair of symmetrical joined houses is called a _ _ m _ - d _ _ _ _ h _ _ house.
Correct the sentences. There is one mistake.
1. The football match just has finished and we can discuss the problem.
2. My parents don't mind to listen to pop music although they prefer classical music.
3. I have a date with Tim and I really need some clothes who are fashionable.
4. Germany is the country in Europe.
5. Is there many sugar in the sugar bowl?
and If you can:
Choose the best alternative to complete each sentence:
1. I read an interesting .... in the papers the other day.
a)article
b) information
c)news
d) reporting
Thank you so much for all who will help me with it.

Here are the answers to the other ones you don't have:
1. At the cinema I like watching
adverts before the film starts.
3. A pair of symmetrical joined houses is called a
semi-detached house.
1. The football match just has finished and
so we can discuss the problem.

This is interesting since you can see this is using British English rather than American English. Definitely makes a difference since I never would have gotten the 'adverts' or 'semi-detached house'. And probably the sentence structure questions will have different answers, too (such as the first football match sentence).

Me neither! It's very interesting how language works, eh?

I think 5 should be Is there any sugar in the sugar bowl?
And maybe 3 should be the word that rather than the word which (Though I'm not 100% sure about this one, My English teacher would be ashamed!
)

Yes I agree with Sophie, I think you got those ones right. Although you will probably be ok with either variations.

Wow! You are fantastic! You answer me so fast!
This exercises are from English contest from my school, but I had a problem with it.
"Sami-detached house" is American English word? Really, without your help I have never finished this homework.
That was very kind of you.
