Excited New Fanmail member Here. tips?

HI yall
I sent out my first few letters last week !!! I am so excited as ive found a new awsome hobby im so interested in. I am up for any Tips from some veteran collecters on here. I have been useing index cards to get signed as i dont have much money for pics. I am disabled so money is a little short here. I have been collecting country music star autos at concerts for a few years but never knew somthing like this was out there! The only tips I can suggest are to read all the stickied topics in Collecting Help, as pretty much all of the questions you may have in the future will be answered there

Hello New Member,
I am only 2 week old member, but have been collecting for twenty years.
You will find great posts here, up to date address's, and lots of enthuiastic autograph collectors.
It really feels good when you see an envelope come through the door!
I personally have never sent pictures with my request, but have always had signed photos back, well the ones that do reply. Very rarely does an "older" film star say they have run out of photos, then I have sent.
Always supply a 10 by 8 SAE, and an IRP, or you will not get any replies.
