Hello,

After surgery on both ankles, one in November one in March I was doing well till:-

All I can say, is I am happy to be here, lucky I was a fit as I was, as this saved my life. Have spent last 6 days in hospital in critical care, with pneumonia, chest infection and 16 blood clots on my lungs !! YES DVT !! Very frightening. Thanks so much for all the texts, visitors, cards and flowers. I am glad to be alive, and I will be fit and active soon!!

Happy to be re-posting, and happy to have a few envelopes to open when I came back home.

Get well soon, take things easy. I know from personal experience pneumonia takes a long time to get over, a few months at least. But to have that all in one go. Don't work too hard
