QUESTION why are some post taken off others stay on

What I want to know is why are some POST being taking off while others close to the subject line of the ones being taken off STAY ON . I have posted a few with the last week or 2. Over half of mine were taken off . 99% of the post followed the guide lines. while some posted info they should not have & they stayed on . . I think just because I got a few successes from websites should not mean I can't post about my success . I am happy about how I got them . I thought this site was ALL ABOUT doing & getting . Well I am getting . You guys help me out 98% of the time . I give info when someone ask & when I post people on here get my help . I just feel sooooooooooooooooooo disapointed when my post does not show up at all or never stays on long . BUT other post do .

Do you:

List the date you sent and date you received?

Post the address you used?

Post a picture of your success?

Only include one success per post?

Its pretty simple...the trash bin is filled with email "successes", the ttm successes with the proper information stay in feedback section.

FIRST I HAVE NO SCANNER but that should not matter ok . DATES yes as close as I can remember . ADDRESS yes I do put it in EVEN if I did not get it from here . because as we know once in a while FAN BIZ is not always RIGHT . So If I got a success from a nother source why would I not post it . I don't know about you BUT I CAN"T AFFORD TO Waste STAMPS OR WAIT WEEKS ONLY TO GET ( RTS ) CAN YOU NO !! . But 98% of the time the addresseson here WORK. EXAMPLE Ben Bailey . HOW MANY posting are we going to see . I posted almost word for word THE SAME THINGS THEY DID . IT GOT TAKEN OFF . they got his success from his website OK FINE . Well when I posted dick van pattens success I did not come right out & say oh I got it off his website but you could read between the lines . Because I thought that was a no no on email addresses .So I did not not . I think most or here are selective on what stays on & what stays off . like with Ben Bailey how many posted but I think only one was in the running for the $10 gift thing . therewas like 10 postings I think. I think it is still on ok. But look at wendy shaal . I got her ADDRESS else where ,I believe it is the same as the DATA BASE. BUT would you not want a second opinion about it if IT WAS A SUCCESS . luckly it was the same address. some not all in the data are not right. So If I get a success or you get one else where would it not BE benefit the rest of the members on here .I THINK SO do to the high cost of INK ,printer paper , Stamps & the long wait . IS ALL I AM SAYING. THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME

That's the thing about deleted posts here isn't it. It's done with no explanation, and you're somehow expected to learn from your mistake by not being told what you did wrong and left with no evidence of the post so you can go back and check.

I AGREE .I have asked them to tell me what I did wrong but I get NO answer . ALSO some post don't
put a date or if they do it is Gusessing date & it still stays on

I had posted 30 something success here, and the first time i forgot to put the address down by MISTAKE, i wasn't asked to post it, I wasn't PM'd to ask if I had it, it was just sent to the trash. Then when I tried to edit it to add the address either

A) it wouldnt let me due to it being in the trash or
B) I did edit it, and sent a PM to an admin and I didnt get a reply till a month later and I still am not sure if it's in the trash or not.

Just sort of sucked it got trashed so fast, when I see a ton of people just post

"got a so and so today signed picture"

and thats all they put and it stays up there. I like someone above me said wish we were notified or something before they just trash it, esp if they will look and see some of us have been here awhile.

IT'S JUST VERY DISAPOINTING . I mean YOU get soooooooo happy you gEt that big brown envelope in the mail . Can't wait to post your success only to have it taken off. How many do you send off in a given week . And what about the ones that take 6 months or a year before you hear back. I am sorry but to the very day I don;t keep close track of the exact date I sent it out .After awhile you tend to forget it , Because you have other stuff going on in your life. NOW if you in it for the money the photos bring THEN YES you might keep records on that stuff . I don't ,I just love collecting . But yes Love to shouting it to the whole word what I got . I get do that on here. MAKES ME FEEL GOOD . look on the board how many post the same success from one person .all their post are just a little different but still pretty much the same . NOT TAKEN OFF
JUST courious is all. if there was favoritism on this board .

Maybe I'm OCD, but I keep a spreadsheet of who I've sent to and when, this way when/if I get something back, I can easily see when I sent.
