Anand Desai-Barochia- hot version of Dev Patel?!

Hey. does anyone have any more info on this actor? He's just completed a film with Lacey Chabert and Rick Malambri. Just read an article about him and the director of the movie said this:
Director Christie Will said: “I saw more than 40 actors for the part - many with extensive TV and film resumés, and even actors on current TV shows that have fan bases.
“The producers and I had decided on an actor, but on the final day of call-backs our casting director said she wanted me to see one last actor before deciding.
“Anand walked into the room and within moments of his audition he blew me away - and had the job immediately.
“Anand has impeccable comedic timing, and is fantastic at improvising.
“Without exaggeration, Anand really is a special talent. He held his own next to veteran actors Lacey Chabert, Vivica Fox and the others - and I'm certain that Anand will have a magical career in Hollywood.â€
