Sending DVDs through the mail?

My mother volunteered herself - and by herself, I mean me - to make and sell DVDs of a musical I was just in. The DVDs have been made, and are in their plastic cases, ready to be sent out.

Trouble is, we're not exactly sure how to go about sending them. Do we just put them in plain envelops, slap on some postage, and send them? Or do we have to package them all up in a box and ship them that way?

Any help at all is much appreciated - by both my family and the cast! Thanks!

For a single CD in a case, a jiffy bag (either bubble lined like bklynBridge95 suggested, or the recyclable paper padding type) will suffice. Make sure the postage covers cost of sending, dont just "slap it on" :) Or you risk it being wrong & the CD being returned to you, or the recipient having to pay extra. You don't want either.
