i feel bad about my baby cousin

well a few days ago my 10 month old baby cousin came over and now i'm sad that he feel and hit his head because he crawled over to me and pulled up on my back and then her fell does this mean i'm a bad person i love him so much i feel so so so so bad :( am i a bad person?

No, your not a bad person. Its not your fault he felt.

i feel sad tho i hope he is ok next time i have to baby proof my room 10000% more better i don't want him getting hurt.

no it had pillows and blankets on the floor with teddy bars for him to play with -well yea it was a mess when i baby proofed it but it was clean at first

How on earth would it make you a bad person? He fell over trying to stand up. What about that is in anyway your fault? Accidents happen.

However, I do question the wisdom in leaving you alone with a 10 month old. Where where the parents? If anything, it's their fault.

This was not your fault. Just make sure you know how to handle small children, or it could lead to something more serious in the future.

Babies are surprisingly resilient, I wouldn't worry about it.

Yeah don't feel too bad about it. I have a much younger sister and a little cousin who are now just getting out of the "baby" years. Both of them would occasionally trip or fall over or bang their heads etc. and sure they cried but it is really not a big deal. All babies will get hurt at some point, that's just part of being a baby.
