I have a question if anyone has an answer

I wasn't sure where to post this, so I guess here is as good a place as any.

How do you get the text in your post to do what you want it to do? I know that sounds kind of weird, let me explain.

How do you get it to go italicized, or bold, etc. and how do you get it to look like it is supposed to when you quote things?

Mine never will do what I want it to, and I think I am doing somthing wrong, but I have no idea how you are supposed to do it.

Anyone who wants to help, I am pretty confused. Thanks!

I think I can help you with this!! All you do is type what you want to type,highlight it,and then press the bold(B),the italicized(i),the underline,etc.!!I hope that this helped you,but if anyone else has a better way of explaining it,feel free to correct me!!

Does it look bolded to you? Because to me it looks like the bracket slashy thing and then "test" and then two sets of bracket slashy things.

You only need one of the [/b] things. So it'll look something like this

[b*] hello [/b*]

(without the *) [/b]

Yes,I noticed after I posted my last comment back that it was bolded!!lol. It does the same thing with mine as well!When you bold it,it doesn't show up until it has been posted!!I hope thats not confusing!! No problem!!Glad that I could help!!

I think I understand, but in my post that is the test one, the 'test' isn't bolded, it still has the brackets around it. Is that what you meant?
