No More E-Mail Posting!

I think we should make it an official rule not to post e-mails, under any circumstances. Many of the e-mails we post get spammed by people looking for free autographs, and sometimes collectors (like me) get e-mails back from the people saying they've been beseiged by requests. There has got to be some way for new users on here to abide by that rule before they start posting on here. Who is with me?

Yes, I've been trying to stress that point for some time now. :neutral: I don't have problems with people posting successes they get from Emails, but they need to learn not to post the email address itself on here or give it out to anyone who begs for it and asks the OP to "PM it to them".

If someone wants it that bad they can look for it themselves. {up} And asking for hints and suggestions doesn't help either, it's still basically like telling them where they can get it. {down}

YES! I can't post my successes from email anymore because of the greedy, inconsiderate people who see it and say "oh I dont care who that person is, I just want it for the free autograph." That is so wrong and it's taking advantage of people's kindness and generosity. I'm sick of the spammers.

Why do people bother getting an auto from someone they don't know,even if it's free? What on earth is the point???? It defies belief.

I know..I don't understand it at all. There is no point. I mean, when you get it, what personal value does it have? Absolutely none. I write to people because I admire them and I like something they have done..as it should be.

YES!!
I'm tired of people who only send e-mails for free autographs. And those spammers are ruining the hobby. I'm still pissed about my One Republic autograph request. Because of those cr*zy mo t h e $ f * @ $ r spammers!!!!!!
And people, if you want the e-mail address go find it on your own. Stop using your favourite line "I'm the biggest fan of him....blah blah blah.... I will do anything if you'll give me the e-mail address.".
I think they should also ban the members who post e-mail addresses here.

Punishment doesn't fit the crime. Especially since mods can remove it with the click of a button.

Now,if we could somehow ban spammers, then that would be perfect ;)

They shouldn't post them, but I have no problem if they send it as a PM. To be honest, even thru a PM, it should banned. You have to find the e-mails on your own.

Also, people should stop putting "email" in their topic titles. It only attracts those who are greedy and are looking for a free autograph.
