How do you tell if a signature is a preprint?

Thanks. I saw the link and I'm really not good at telling the difference. Also, how do you tell if t's not glossy?

The autograph will sort of change color when held up to a light. If it is a preprint then the autograph will do nothing because it is part of the photo.

The Jim Davis is authentic because I got him to send one for me and my girlfriend and they were both different.
Is your Avatar of Joe Crede MW? It looks like the pic is from Joe Davis Stadium....home of the Huntsville Stars. Do you get baseball sigs? I have over 65,000 in person sigs. I am new to this in the mail stuff. I have gotten 18 responses I will post in the next couple of days and have sent out over 200 requests.
