New to the boards. Some questions

Hi,
This is a great board and I can't wait to start collecting celeb autographs...
Just a few questions:
1. Do you send International Reply Coupons with your letter so that they can send you back the autograph? Also, do you send the International Reply Coupons when sending a letter to the USA or do you sen the IRCs even when you're sending it to the UK?
2. Do you yourself send a poster/ picture so that they can sign onto it, or do they themselves send a poster with their autograph on it?
Thanks!

Hey guys, welcome!

Go and have a read through of the 'Tips and Help' stickies at the top of this forum here: viewforum.php?f=117

They will give you some great advice about what to send and what to expect when you write. :)

Enjoy!

Hi, welcome! Hope you enjoy the hobby! :mrgreen:
1. Do you send International Reply Coupons with your letter so that they can send you back the autograph?
Yes, right! But only when you write overseas. ;-)
Also, do you send the International Reply Coupons when sending a letter to the USA or do you sen the IRCs even when you're sending it to the UK?
You can always send IRCs if you're writing overseas. So, if you live in the UK and you're writing someone inside the UK, then you don't send IRCs. Instead, you enclose stamps(SASE). And of course, if you don't live in the USA, you can send IRCs there. You can always enclose IRCs when writing outside your country.
2. Do you yourself send a poster/ picture so that they can sign onto it, or do they themselves send a poster with their autograph on it?
You should always try to include something for them to sign if you expect to get at least something back from them. Some celebrities do sign and send their own ones, but sending them your own stuff makes things easier and more convenient for them.

Good luck collecting! Glad to meet ya! :mrgreen: {up}
