Ask: UK stamp (need suggestion)

Unread post by devitiari »

Hello! My name is Devi from Indonesia. I'm new in autograph things. I wanna ask something. I wanna send LoR to someone in UK. But I only have one 56p uk stamps (oakwood tree). if I use it as my SASE, will I get the reply? the envelope contain 2 photos which are 5x7. Or better if I just use SAE?

Thank you very much :D

Hi Devi!

I don't think that's enough postage, I'm afraid. For UK international postage you need to think about the weight of your envelope. For airmail, the very cheapest rate to Indonesia is 76p. I've today prepared an envelope that fits into the same category as Indonesia, and its costing me £1.65 - at weighs about 25gramms and it only includes a record card letter and return envelope. Check out the airmail postage rates here: http://www.royalmail.com/portal/rm/cont ... tId=400036

Hope this helps! {up}
