forever stamps???? HELP!!!

please could someone help me i am from the uk

and wish to send reqs to the usa. I used to send ircs but they are now stopping in the uk so i would like to send sase but i do not know how much postage to send on an envelope.
Also could someone please tell me how forever stamps work i am really confused can i just put one of these stamps on the envelope and thats it??

You'll have to guess the weight of the envelope coming back to you. Assuming it's just a photo with maybe some cardboard, take the equivalent to weight it somewhere with a scale. Once you have the grams, convert it to ounces then go to USPS.com and calculate postage. Right now a first class stamp is 44cents. I predict you'll need 4-5. A forever stamp is same as first class stamp, but if the rate goes up it will always be good as a first class stamp. Those would be my choice as you never know how long it will take. Hope that helps.

so i only need one stamp if its coming back to the uk?

One will never cover it. You need to know the size and weight of what's being sent back to you before you'll get an answer.
