Is anybody else having trouble with the forums

Things don't seem to have been working right around here for a while now. The "Last feedback received" is missing for a lot of people now, so I have trouble knowing if an address is going to be a dead end or not. Or if when you search for a person and try to click on a user's forum post about their success, I often get a message saying "The requested topic does not exist". For example; look up J.K. Simmons. I can't access any previous feedback on him even though users have clearly left some previous feedback. Like I said, I'm having this problem with a lot of different celebrity entries.
Have you guys been having this trouble as well?

Yeah, it's really frustrating that so many posts got lost. Someone posted an Edward James Olmos success at the end of last year and I would like him to sign my BSG group photo, but I don't know which address to send to because I can't access that success anymore.

Perhaps you guys already know this, but if you search e.g. "*nameofactor* fanmailbiz sucess" in google and choose to open the results in cache, you'll be able to view the page! Works for me anyway.
Hope this helps!

No, the link is right in the Google results. It's the blue link that says "Cached" next to the URL.
The problem with the cached pages however is that they will update. When the forum first crashed, using Google's cache worked well, but now that a lot of time has passed, Google is beginning to cache the "The requested topic does not exist" pages.

I just tried the google thing and it works,a bit of extra work but you can get the info. My question to admin is, why can't they go get them and bring them back home?? Not being an IT type it seems like it could be done???

If you use Firefox or Chrome, there are probably plugins available that would allow you to use Google's cache via a context menu (right-clicking a link) which would speed things up. But as previously mentioned, Google will ultimately recache all those lost pages, so it isn't going to work forever.
The old pages can't be recovered because the data crashed and no backups were made, which is rather odd given the size of this forum.
