Our next trip to NY

Hi guys!
We are so excited because next Sunday, we´ll go to NY for Holiday and we feel very nervous because it´s 1st time that we go out of Europe.
So, we bought tickets for The Addams Family and we would like to meet Brooke Shields in person so, we are looking for some advices:
On Boradway shows, where we must wait for the actors? on the main door? outside?
And we were wondering if someone knows if from 18 till 28 Sept, it will be some premiere or something where we could meet some stars.
