Have you ever stopped and wondered if a celeb is reading your letter RIGHT now? Because I have many times, and for one person I sent to last week I was able to email their manager and they said they had just passed it onto them! Which is really cool as they are reading it/or just read it today!
I wonder how long it will take to reply... also... I didn't send return postage/stamps
I know, I know, I should have. But I'm sure they will reply, I sent a really long thoughtful letter, and they don't have any fanmail normally so hopefully...
Share your thoughts or experiences about whether you have guessed when someone was reading your letter, and then it turns out to be right or very likely to be true

Highly unlikely the celebrity will use their own money and resources to reply to you. If they do it will probably be their management company doing the paying and usually everyone just gets a pre-print when they don't send a SASE.

I've had so many successes without return postage I really don't know what to tell you.
It's about
the letter and what you say, not whether you or not you include money to reply (contrary to what most people on here believe - that sending a "short and sweet" "Hey can I have your autograph" letter with money is better

. The way i see it, yes it would be good to include return postage but if you remember YOU are the one taking possibly hour(s) to write to them and spend much of your time supporting them. And ok if they were very famous then I would understand, but they're not. This celeb has no or at most 1 or 2 letters a year (thats how unknown they are) so I doubt they will turn down replying to a fan for at most $2.
Thanks for being supportive.....
And pre prints aren't an option, I was told they had
just passed it onto them yesterday

so they got it. I doubt they would personally read my letter then give it to their manager to give me a preprint...
