I found this site while looking for contact info on celebrities. I am a volunteer for a Child Advocacy Center and we are attempting to contact celebrities about donating items for a fundraiser. My assignment is to find contact info for 16 of the celebrities on our list of possibilities. I am having trouble finding out how best to contact them. Is it best to send a request letter to their fan club(s)? Or a message on Facebook? For example: Katy Perry is the first on my list. I found her facebook page, but no other contact info. Anyone have suggestions on how to tackle my list?? Please?? :?

It would probably be best to write to them at their fan mail address. For the fundraiser, are you going to have autographed photos or did you want the celebrity to donate other items? Because it might be a little difficult for the celebrity (depending on how famous he/she is) to donate items. I know a few charity groups on here and they get pictures autographed for fundraising events.

Thanks for your quick response! We are asking for donations of a "gently-loved" purse, wallet, backpack, or satchel (depending on what the celebrity uses) for our Purse-onality sale. Our group has collected many of these from people in our community that we sell at events around the area, but the board members decided to try collecting some from celebrities that we can sell at an auction event. All proceeds go to the foundation to help abused/neglected children in our county.

Probably your best chance would be to write them. If the celebrity is less famous, then you could try contacting them via their website or telling their agent about your charity. But, for Katy Perry, she might be hard to get. Good luck! It sounds like a good charity!
