help with Avatar~

Hey guys
Ive been struggeling to upload an avatar to this site. I keep getting the message:
:The avatar’s filesize must be between 0 and 6 KiB:
Despite having tried uploading various images and/or from URLS!
Please help me if I am doing something super stupid!!!

I tried that now and I get the following error:
The submitted avatar is 150 pixels wide and 150 pixels high. Avatars must be at least 20 pixels wide and 20 pixels high, but no larger than 100 pixels wide and 100 pixels high.
The avatar i want to add is:

Thank you very very very very very much Mister Admin!!!!! I really appreciate your help and also for the interface you are providing for us all to interact! It is (thus far) a great experience and I have received alot of help from everyone regarding my new hobby!!!
