Happy Christmas, Fanmailers!

Well, hard to believe another year is over.
Although I would have to say, 2013 was a bit of a boring year as far as successes were concerned, I did get a good few and there have been many highlights.

From finally getting my long-awaited reply from Cheryl Ladd in July to getting my 120th Irish celeb reply in October, it proved that I was busy as ever. It was only a printer ink conservation crisis of my own that had somehow slowed me down along the way but that has since been fixed.

This year has, however, seen me looking into the scientific aspects of fanmail and it has resulted in five pioneering successes.
And, as Walter Cronkite once said to close down an anniversary special on CBS in 1978: "Don't judge us yet, for there is still more to come". The same can be said for the fanmail successes that I will expect from experimental attempts. And indeed, I promise that users of Fanmail.biz will be the first to know about them.

2014, as a result will be a very busy and important year for me as a collector. In addition, I am now writing a book about fanmail, hopefully future collectors will learn a lot about the profession of autograph collecting from it. I trust 2014 shall be a busy time for you. In the meantime, I wish you all the best this holiday season.

I myself had a good year...I sent out less requests than other years and had a pretty good year until October and then I got back a bunch of great stuff over the past 2 months so I am very happy with what I got in 2013.... {up} [ca] For what I sent out this year to what I got back I would say I had a above average year.
