Superman Returns Premiere Question

Hello. I was wondering if anybody could help me. Well actually my friend asked me this question so I was hoping to help her out. I am not at all familiar with how movie premieres work. She wants to surprise her boyfriend and take him to the premiere in NY. Does anybody know anywhere I could find any sort of information about this? I am looking for a location or where to buy tickets or anything. Thanks a lot!!!

Great question

Unfortunately though, you generally can't buy tickets to premiers. They tend to be sent out free-of-charge to other celebrities and the tv and radio media

You can sometimes win tickets via radio or tv competitions, but basically that's it - sorry

I don't know for certain at this point whether it will be premiered in New York, but being as the vast majority of the film was shot in the city (it was used for all the "Metropolis" scenes) I think it is a pretty safe bet.

As far as I am aware, the movie is on general release in the US from 4th July, and premiers the week before.

Good luck with getting tickets - check out your local radio stations etc for competitions.
