Off Topic, my opinion!

I really do not understand what has happened to this site and common decency. I get when someone asks for authentication, HOWEVER...I think it is SO rude to offer it for no reason. It is almost like an "i'm better than you" sort of behavior. The reason for this site has been lost in the befuddlement of these types of ideas. "Telling the truth" is one thing, WHEN ASKED for. Your random comments that are not requested are nothing but bullying by hateful and spiteful negative spirited people. I truly hope site owners and mods will consider these points. They are leading to the downfall of this site, causing negative feelings towards its users and hurting the spirit and love of collecting autographs. Just my opinion but it really bothers me.
Peace and Love,

It is just that not too long ago, it was so nice to correspond with other collectors on this site. I do also use ST. Comparing successes and an occasional address that can not be found on ST is what brought me here. It is just sad to see a fun and beneficial site go down the tubes because of a few bad apples.

My other comments that I posted on the original thread. I just like to be transparent to avoid confusion...
The rules of this site have always been, authenticate when requested. Anything outside of that is unwarranted and unneeded. In general as someone whom works in entertainment, I have always found that people that are too concerned with authenticity are not collecting as fans but for profit. This ruins the point of collecting to me. It is also what prompts more and more celebs to not sign. If authenticity is the only major factor in your collecting, would that not mean that value is important to you as opposed to just receiving something from someone that you like?
Still wishing peace and love to all.

I have only been a user for almost a year but I believe this site really is full a great people wanting to share information and share successes. Unfortunately there are some who are here for the wrong reasons. I have encountered a few myself. But that is true anywhere you go. This site is what we all make of it! And if you post something, you leave yourself open to other's opinions.

It's sort of the unwritten rule that you can't control everyone's comment. If you don't want to hear whether your autograph is real or not on an autograph fan mail forum then don't post at all.

I love this site. I've gained a lot of useful information to help me start collecting.

In case you haven't noticed the Internet is full of rude people.
Actually, I think that some members here are autograph dealers deterring people from obtaining certain autographs. The one thread seemed like nothing more than an advertisement for an autograph signing event by Dick Van Dyke (which they were charging $89 for, who you can get for free TTM and it will pass authentication).
There's only about four or five member on here who are causing trouble. It's the same people over and over. This is a new account but I have been a member here for a few years but will no longer post successes due to trolling hemorrhoids who have nothing else better to do.
But yes, I have noticed exactly what you are talking about.
