In a previous post, so,eone commented on David Gilmore not making music anymore... Please check out "On An Island" eleased by D.G this March 2006. Not only is he still making music, but this is one of best Non-Pink Floyd albums. Highly recommend this one!!!

But yes, I do agree with you, David Gilmour has been making music and On An Island is fantastic! I believe the current tour has finished now and unfortunately I wasn't able to go and see him, with all my exams going on
But I did get an autograph from him Via Venue

Wish I could have seen the tour - it has been a long time sense the Pulse Tour. I'm in Anchorage so we don't get too many shows up here. I end up travelling around the US to see concerts.
Spread the word on Gilmore's latest album - I was nocked over by how good each track is - not a bad song on the CD.
