OK, So I know a few of you were asking how I got on last night at the Madonna concert. So I thought I'd post a bit about it in here (I'm Sorry If I'm not allowed to post this type of thing)

OK, First Of the concert was truely *AMAZING*. I've been to a few concerts in my time & Up until now Destiny's Child had been the best, But I have to see Madonna was 10 times better than Destiny's Child!!

The Song Line-Up was mostly off her new album 'Confessions on a Dancefloor', And Because It was Madonna's 48th Bithday yesterday, She added a few extra songs In to the Line-Up. We also got to sing her Happy Birthday, It was so great, The whole of the Arena was literally screaming 'Happy Birthday Dear Madonna'

Two Of the songs, 'Live To Tell' & 'Forbidden Love', Where abit Controversial (sp?} As For 'Live To Tell' She got on the cross with the crown of fthorns and for 'Forbidden love' she danced between Two dancers that had an Islamic symbol and A Jewish Symbol on their chests.

This is not deffinate, As I can't remmber the exact line-up, But It was:

Future Lovers
Get Together
Like A Virgin
Jump
Live to Tell
Forbidden Love
Issac
Sorry
Like It or Not
I Love New York
Ray of Light
Let It Will Be
[Happy Birthday Madonna]
Drowned World
Paradise (Not for Me)
Music (Disco Inferno Remix)
Erotica
La Isla Bonita
Lucky Star
Hung Up

My Favourites Where: Like A Virgin, Isaac [The Kabbalah singer Isaac, Came on and performed with her, It was so good as this is my favourite song off her new album], Sorry [She performed the dance from the Video, Where she's in the wrestling cage], I Love New York [Madonna played the electric guitair], Ray of Light [She had everyone literally jumping for this one], Erotica [A Lady of 48 Who can get her leg that far behind her head, Deserves an award  ], La Isla Bonita & Hung Up.

I wasn't actually able to take any Photo's, Because On the ticket It Said In Bold NO CAMERAS. NO RECORDERDS. And you get searched as you go in, But I managed to sneak In My Camera/Video phone In the waistband of my trousers  I managed to Take a few Video's, But I had to record them off the big screen as there was so many lights when you tryed to film the stage, All you'd see is glare :| And I have to warn you the quality of The Video's Are absolutely AWFUL. The computer man is Coming to fix my dads hardrive and then I'll be able to post some of Video's.. I'll only be able to post a few though, Because Alot of them have swearing on them..

I also bought A T-Shirt, With Madonna On The Cross on the front & The England Concert Dates on the back, It cost me £35 (Around $60) (The programmes themselves where £25) And since I payed £200 ($350) For my ticket, I'm now officially spent out

If you want to know anything more about the concert, Just ask

Best Wishes,
A Very Hyper Aimee  xXx

EDIT: I didn't take these photo's, But just to give you an idea on the outfits she was wearing, here are a few pictures:

Dear Aimee,

I'm really glad you enjoyed last night's show. Although it hasn't been her best show during the "Confessions Tour" (she looked extremly tired) it was still a very special one since it's been her first birthday show ever. On previous tours she would perform on August 15th, 17th and 18th but she has never performed a show on her actual birthday.

I must correct you on this one. The setlist remained the same, there were no changes made although it was Madge's birthday. The only exception was the part when everyone joined in to sing "Happy Birthday" to her.

Here are some photos from last night's birthday show as well as a small video when everyone joined in to sing "Happy Birthday":

If you want more photos, simply drop me a line. The audio and video recording of the complete show will be available soon as usual.

Although I truly hope that NBC takes the show of August 15th to air in November since Madge hasn't done too well last night, you might be lucky to see yourself on TV if NBC also cuts in some footage of the August 16th show.

However since this seemed to be your first Madonna show ever I'm really glad that you've enjoyed it!

Best,
Stephan

Of course she did and she'll also perform it when she's in Düsseldorf on Sunday although German prosecutors try to sue her for that. It's part of the complete show and due to artistic freedom no one, not even His Holiness Pope Benedict XVI., can do anything about it. Madonna rather cancels a show (like she did with the Frankfurt gig during the "Girlie Show" Tour in 1993) than changing anything about her show.

Best,
Stephan

If you could let me know when the audio and video recording of the show Is available, I'd really appreciate it. She did look abit tired last Night..

TheMailman:
