Obsessed or what Johan lol?

I saw it the day after release and I must say that there are only three faults:

1) The song used (let's just say it's not like Tina or Shirley).
2) Daniel Craig seemed a bit stiff and unrealistic in some parts.
3) There are no gadgets at all.

Overall it is very enjoyable and Eva Green is very good portraying her character. Casino Royale has been said to be one of the best Bond movies.

It's in the top 250 movies on IMDB.com

Hey TheMailMan, just want to comment on your pointers! :D

1) The song used (let's just say it's not like Tina or Shirley).

It was different, the director always said the film was going to be different to the others - and plus to entice younger viewers (like me :D ) they needed a fresh sound. (Don't take me wrong though, Tina and Shirley are fantastic)

2) Daniel Craig seemed a bit stiff and unrealistic in some parts.

He wasn't stiff, he was collected and calm. I thought that Daniel Craig was the best Bond, and I've seen them all!

3) There are no gadgets at all.

I had to remember that this is technically the first film, and so James Bond wasn't yet trusted enough by M to be given expensive and deadly gadgets.

I thought this was a great mix of action, thrills and light humour. Most Bond girls were eye-candy - and in 'Casino Royale', Eva Green showed a different side and was smart and sophisticated. The bad guy, Mads Mikkelsen, was brilliant! The blood weeping from his eye was great, loved that about him.

What can I say about Daniel Craig? BRILLIANT, AMAZING, INCREDIBLE - these words shot into my mind during the film. And he had a great body, no one can deny that! :D Him being blond didn't bother me either, it's new and different - and it was a good difference! :D

Some scenes will make you squirm in your seat...guys in particular - but it wasn't just there as a time-filler, it actually had purpose! :D

Go and see it, otherwise you'll regret it!

I think I know what you mean when you say 'guys will squirm' as that's what I did lol.

Don't get me wrong as I know there are alot of female fans but the Bond franchise usually has a male following. I believe the reason they added the beach scenes was too indise females to see the new film as well.

I see what your getting at with the whole 'gadget' theory, I completely forgot it was the first one

Hope you have a great time seeing the movie, Johan! Hopefully you won't go dressed as Mr. Bond himself??

i thought it was a great film, just what the series needed. could not fault daniel craig - athough i found his mouth distracting at times :P

it had everything, a good bad guy (he cries blood and has greasy hair and a scar - what more could you want?)

the action scenes were brilliant - theres some pretty exciting stuff that goes on in that film. quite dark in places, but its good. to be honest i havent thought much of the past few films, i havent thought much of the storylines and they seemed to be going into the realms of fantasy a bit much. i thought it was quite good in this one that it didnt rely on gadgets and all that, it was just him.

in conclusion - woo. id definitely go see that again. even if its just for the comfy chair which did make me laugh :P probably wouldnt have if i was a bloke...
