For a presentation at school, I need to include why people collect autographs...at the moment I've got three reasons.

1. To look forward to getting mail.
2. To have a claim to fame
3. To have something to do with their spare time.

I would like to know what your reasons for collecting are, and would you mind keeping them short like above as the people in my class get bored easily! Thanks in advance!

I just love movies and media, and it's a fun way to pass the time.

And coming home every day and zipping to the mailbox is a definite thrill...;)

Thrill and often a disapiontment, but there are those days!!!!!it's not all about the autograph knowing that you have the ability to contact someone who is admired by thousands is pretty cool

I collect so in the future I have something to remember my younger days with, to show future generations I suppose, of the people I idolised growing up

My main reason was boredom Also cos I never thought I'd get anything back and it would be a bit of fun...me and my friend sent one to the woman who plays Sonia from Eastenders cos shes a bit of an in-joke...never did get anything back

I collect because I love how my house looks with all these celebrities, and I know they enjoy the letters, when they read them. My friends love my collection and I love showing it off.
