Why is it taking so long????

I've got about 52 addresses and I've written to about 40 of them but I've only got 5 replys
. Am I doing something wrong. Sometimes I write to a celebrity loads of times but they still don't write back
. Is it something I said (or haven't)??? Anyone got any answers???

Hi Blue-Vixen ,
I know its annoying having to wait but this hobby is all about waiting, it could take anything from 1 week to 1 year to get a response. Most celebs respond within 3 months within your own country. If you are sending to another country allow at least 4 months for the extra time it will take for the letter to get back and forth. If you are unsure as to why you havn't got a response from someone after, say, about 6 months, post a request in the 'Is this address still up to date' to see if you can try an alternitave. Be paitent, its worth it in the end!

I know what your going through.. I have the same feeling right now in a way, But you have to realize that they are extremely busy & they sometimes only go to their agency a few times a year so you really just have to be patient [even though its hard!] I'm sure you'll get more replies soon!

yes, be patient. & you really shouldnt send to the same celeb over and over again.

Agreed, maximum 4 per year for any one celebrity

wow 4 times a year is a lot. The most i've ever written to a celeb is twice, because she switched agencies.

I agree that 4 per year seems a bit excessive. Maybe 2, if even that many (at least in my opinion).

I would never send more then 2 to the same agency AND 2 to a diffrent agency if the celeb swithced, that is....

Er. . . *nervous giggle*. . . I wrote to a particular celeb twice this MONTH.
I didn't realise that he might think me a stalker. But he did write me a hand written letter back so I assumed he didn't mind. His letter was really sweet. He said he was flattered by what I said in my letter (no I'm not going to tell you
).
